Note: This program is for children 4 ~ 5 years old

Circle Time:

ABC Alphabet Program that teaches for mastery of sound-symbol correspondence and making an alphabet book
Integrated lessons that promote higher level thinking skills
On-going discussion of the unit of the month in a mini-lesson
The Pledge of Allegiance and discussions of the weather
Calendar work which develops number recognition, counting and sequencing skills
Songs, finger plays and games
Stretches the attention span

Project and Play Time:

Daily art projects that relate to the theme or letter being studied which enlists imagination
Centers such as water table, computer, science discoveries
A variety of manipulatives and puzzles
Transition activities
Provides a variety of hands-on experiences

Story/Snack:

Literature based program related to the unit, season or letter of the week
Show and Tell component that develops comfort and confidence in speaking in front of a group
Snacks provided are peanut free

Gross Motor Activity:

30 minute large muscle activities per session
Outside: Fenced playground environment promotes imaginative play with riding toys, bubbles, chalk, climber, playhouse, sandbox, soccer balls, and games
Inside: Bright, carpeted play area with a variety of ridings toys, bouncy balls, parachute, basketball, balance beams, tunnels, stick animals, hopscotch, bean bag toss, scarves and ribbon rings.
